Hell yes, a new record from one of my favorites! INJURY from Italy takes no prisoners on DOMINHATE. If I had to explain the sound of the band, I would say it is a mix of THE HAUNTED and EXODUS. I think this comes really close.
INJURY hatte mich schon damals mit ihrem Erstling total geflasht. Immer wieder wundere ich mich darüber, wie man als Undergound Band so nen Sound fabrizieren kann.Wer INJURY noch nicht kennt, sollte sich unbedingt mal auf dessen Seite ein paar Infos holen.
INJURY got me by the balls back when they released their first album called UNLEASH THE VIOLENCE in 2011. It’s impressive everytime to see how you could sound as an underground band. If you haven’t heard of INJURY jet, you should get more informations of this great band very soon.
SONGWRITING 3,5/5
Beim Songwriting stimmt einmal wieder alles. Pfeilschnelle Riffs, unterbrochen von mörderischen Nackenbrecherparts, tolle Leads (man beachte schon gleich den ersten Song der Scheibe "The Shadow Behind The Cross"). Was soll ich sagen, es passt einfach. Wer hier nicht mitgeht, dem ist nicht mehr zu helfen! Obwohl ich sagen muss, dass mir im Gegensatz zum Debut UNLEASH THE VIOLENCE doch der ein oder andere Ohrwurm fehlt. So bleibt der Gesamteindruck doch leider etwas Eintönig. Trotzdem alles in allem einfach ein super Release, dass in keinem Metal und schon garnicht in keinem New Thrash Regal fehlen sollte.
According
to the UNLEASH THE VIOLENCE record the songwriting is perfect again. Lightning
fast riffs, interrupted by murderous neckbreaker parts. Great leads (check out
the first Song “The Shadow Behind the Cross” for example.) What can I say? It
totally fits everything. If you can’t mosh to this album, you’re unsrescuable!
I think I have invented a new word right now. :D
But I also
have to say that I miss earpiercing songs on the record. UNLEASH THE VIOLENCE
has few of these. So DOMINHATE leaves you with a mixture of monotone feelings.
But all in one a very good release which should not be missed in a Metal/
Thrash Metal collection. SOUND 5/5
Also Soundtechnisch macht den Jungs, obwohl es eine so unbekannte Band ist so schnell Niemand etwas vor. Was die hier wieder an Brachialität bieten geht unter keine Kuhhaut. Der absolute Wahnsinn!! Besser kann man Metal heut zu Tage nicht klingen lassen. Aufgenommen, gemixt und gemasterd wurde die Scheibe von SIMONE MULARONI in den DOMINATION STUDIOS. Den Namen sollte man sich mal merken. Da braucht es nicht immer einen Andy Sneap und Co. ;)
Soundingwise I think not many bands can follow that . The brutality is incredable! You cannot letting sound a record better than this. Recorded, mixed and mastered in DOMINATION STUDIOS by SIMONE MULARONI. Remember this name. You don't need Andy Sneaps and Co. all the time. ;)

Mit einer Spielzeit von 47:46 und insgesamt 10 Songs darf man sich also auf reichlich guten und fett produzierten Thrash Metal der Neuzeit freuen.
With a playtime of 47:46 and in complete 10 songs you get lots of great and fat produced Thrash Metal songs from nowadays.
ARTWORK 4/5
Das Artwort kommt von einem Künster namens "Andrea Cara". Den Style finde super. Etwas abstrakt, mal was anderes Frisches. Vorallem erinnert mich der Typ auf dem Sessel an "Scott Ian" von ANTHRAX. ;)

comes from an artist called ANDREA CARA. I really enjoyed it because it’s a bit
abstract and comes with a new kind of freshness. Especially that guy on the
chair reminds me of Scot Ian of ANTRHAX. :)
LAYOUT 4/5
Leider gibt es von dem Album noch kein 12" Pressing. Die Digi-CD ist aber ordentlich verschafft. Die Innenseite lässt sich sogar zweimal aufklappen. Dort findet man neben einem Bandfoto nochmal Art von "Andrea Cara". Alle Lyrics, Danksagungen der Band sowie andere Infos zu Aufnahme, Artwork usw. sind natürlich alle vorhanden. Der CD-Aufdruck ist sehr schlicht gehalten.
Unfortunately
it does not exist a 12” pressing at the time. But the Digi-CD is well produced.
The inside can be opened even twice. You will find beside a picture of the band
again, art from ANDREA CARA again. All lyrics, thranks from the guys, as well
as more informations about the recording, artwork etc. are included. The CD
itself doesn’t look very impressive.
Bewerten tue ich das gesamte Package mit 4,1/5 und freue mich auf Neues in der Zukunft. Vielleicht mit nem Masterlabel Release und ner Tour durch Europa?! :) Who knows? ;)
So I come
to 4,1/5 for the whole package and I’m exited for new releases in the future at
the same time. Maybe with a masterlabel and Euro-Tour?! J Who knows? ;)
Ich schau nach ob ich Soundsamples finde. Die werde ich dann hier posten und Ihr müsst wir dann im Gegenzug versprechen, euch die Band anzuhören. Deal? ;)
